THE POWER OF FAITH AND UNITED PRAYERS

Daniel 2:16-19

Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; … Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Our study today is based on how Daniel’s experience in our text above can be applied to the challenges we face in the environments we find ourselves. Just as the lives of all the wise men in Babylon were under threat because of a seemingly impossible challenge, many times such threatening and seemingly impossible issues arise either in our homes or work environments. How could the king have asked that someone tell him what e dreamt, then tell him the meaning of the dream or else he would kill all the wise men in the land? The situation looked impossible for men but it was not impossible for God and Daniel had faith in God.

Daniel told the king to give him time to solve the mystery. Daniel went home and asked Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to join him in praying for a solution to that challenge. God showed Daniel and His friends mercy by revealing the dream to Daniel and instead of dying, God’s name was glorified and they were all eventually promoted (Dan.2:46-49). Child of God, I want you to believe that God can turn that situation around. You can share that your home or work environment challenge with other trusted
believers in your home or work environment and you all can pray to God for His solution and intervention, (James 5:16-18). God will turn things around.

Action Point:
Join faith now with other believers. Pray over a challenge either they or you are facing. Trust God for a turnaround.
