THE POWER OF GOD’S PRESENCE

“When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.” Psalms 9:3-4 KJV

God is not in contention with the devil. He is neither nervous nor under pressure concerning whatever the enemy throws at His children.  That’s because there is adequate provision for our complete victory. He will not abandon His own irrespective of what the devil does. He does not just fold His hands to allow the devil run roughshod over you. The last time I read about it, God is still sitting and laughing at what the devil is doing. You may be reading this today and you are carrying a heavy load. No matter what it is, I am confident that no matter the load you are carrying, the power of God is available to bring an end to every satanic manipulation in your life.

The most powerful place to be is the presence of God. That was the secret David discovered. Psalm 91:1-4: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely, he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler” (KJV).

Knowing and walking in this truth is the secret of total and enduring success. Mountains melt like wax at His presence. The hills skip at His presence. Demons bow at his presence. Strength comes from His presence.

Decide today to stay continually in the presence of God. Everything that once stood against you will fall flat in His presence. This year, you will sing your song and dance your dance. Settle it in your heart that God who did not spare His only begotten Son Jesus, but gave Him to you, will also through Him freely give you all things.
