The Power of Our Glorious Inheritance

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT), 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NKJV)
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. *But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

The songwriter says, “who am I that you are mindful of me? That you here me when I call. Is it true that you are thinking of me? How you love me. It’s amazing! It’s amazing!” Child of God, God is very mindful of you. He is always thinking about you. David declared, “how precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!”(Psa.139:17-18, NLT.) If we can only understand and remain conscious of how much God is thinking about us and how great His thoughts and plans for us are, we would no longer worry or think negatively about any situation in our lives. Instead, we will always rejoice and ask God to reveal to us the things that He is thinking concerning us so that we can tap into them and experience them.

In Matthew 6:27 (BSB) Jesus said, “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?” In Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), God adds, “or I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosperyou and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Child of God, you have a glorious hope and you have a wonderful future in God. God has already blessed and settled your life for you. God’s thoughts and plans for you are contained in His word and all His promises are His plans you (2Cor.1:20). He wants to make you all that Christ is. As you continue to trust and fellow Him, He will guide you and bring you into the fullness of His glorious plans for your life. Do not be afraid. You have a future and you have a hope. Your God is able to do exceedingly above all that you ask or imagine according to His power at work on the inside of you (Eph.3:20).

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the great thoughts that you are thinking about me. Please fill my heart with only your thoughts.
