The Power of Redemptive Thinking
2 Corinthians 5:16 (TPT), Matthew 6:9-11 (TPT)
…from now on, we refuse to evaluate people merely by their outward appearances. For that’s how we once viewed the Anointed One, but no longer do we see him with limited human insight. *Pray like this: ‘Our Beloved Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn. Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven. We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day.
The redemptive work of Christ is so wonderful, powerful and vast and it needs to be central and the major influence in all our thoughts, words and actions. The things that Christ has done need to be the lens via which we view and respond to both life and people, we must not forget or despise the things that Christ has achieved. They must influence all areas of our lives.
Beloved, we must maintain a redemptive attitude. When we face people and situations, we should be conscious and committed to how God’s will can be done on earth as it is in Heaven in their lives, in that situation or within that sphere of influence. Where God’s will is not being experienced or manifested, we should focus on how those people, situations or sphere of influence can experience the power of God’s restoration. By the redemptive power of the sacrifice of Christ, anything and anymore can be restored. Everything is possible to us because we believe (Mark 9:23). God wants you to bring the redemptive power of Christ into every area of life and every situation that you face. The Bible tells us that Jesus always did what He saw the Father doing (John 5:17-19). Always ask yourself this question: ” what do I see God the Father doing in this person’s life and in this situation?”
By the Spirit of God, we have the ability to always know the deep things on the mind of God (1Cor.2:9-12). God is always at work in us, making us willing and able to do His good will (Phil.2:13). As the Spirit of God reveals it to you, follow God’s leading; say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I ask that the redemptive power of Christ will manifest through me today to restore both lives and situations to your will.
