THE POWER TO HEAL AND DO MIRACLES

Matthew 10:8 (KJV, TPT), Luke 10:19a

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. *You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick, and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people, and raise the dead back to life. Freely you have received the power of the kingdom, so freely release it to others. *Behold, I give unto you power…

As a believer in Christ, God has given you the same power that Jesus has to heal and do miracles. Now, I am not telling you that God ‘will give you’ the same power Jesus has. God ‘has given’ it to you already.

God has given this great power to you freely! You do not have to pay any price for it. Jesus has paid the price for you to have it. As Jesus paid for your sins and sickness (1Pet.2:24), He became poor so you might be rich (2Cor.8:9) and became sin for you so you might become the righteousness of God (2Cor.5:21), He has also paid the price for you to experience and manifest the power of God in your life. All you have to do is to believe in Jesus. Jesus said these signs will follow them that believe, (Mark 16:17). He did not say these signs shall follow them that pay the price for it.

When Peter and John healed the lame man by the beautiful gate, did they say it was because of a price they paid for the power of God? No. They said it was by faith in Christ, (Acts 3:16). God works miracles among us, not because of the works of the law (or what we do) but by the hearing of faith, (Gal.3:5). As you see Jesus in the Bible, healing the sick and manifesting God’s power, see yourself in Him doing the very same thing. For you have that same power.

Faith Declaration:
By my faith in Jesus, I have freely received the same power that Jesus has to heal and to do miracles. Halleluyah!
