THE REWARD OF PURITY (2)
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the concluding part of the teaching. I strongly believe you were blessed by the previous teaching. Last week, we examined what purity is and a few areas of the same. This week, we shall continue on the topic of The Reward of Purity, and we shall examine one more area of purity and the rewards.
Your Action
God weighs your actions, dispositions, attitude, mood, and positioning. Attitude greatly affects destiny; how high you go in life is determined by your attitude. 1 Samuel 2:3(b) says: … for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. If you must live a life of purity, your actions must be discipline-conscious.
Your actions can be read like a book. The Word says: Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3). Do not wait for someone to run after you before you can do what is right. You have the Spirit of God in you, so you know the right from the wrong. Speaking of Jesus, the Bible says: Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil and choose the good (Isaiah 7:15).

If you carry a disposition that murmurs, grumbles, and complains now that you are single, you have already placed a limit on the security of your destiny. No matter your situation, rather than a murmur, give thanks to God always, and your future is guaranteed.
At the age of forty-five, one of our sisters trusted God for marital breakthrough. Instead of murmuring and complaining, she testified that she gave God thanks 7,000 times, and her miracle husband emerged. Today, she is gloriously married. If she had not disciplined her disposition, probably she would still be single.
Your action is a product of your thought. God’s Word says: Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:17-18). So, mind what you feed on. You must feed on the Word of God always because it will keep you from sin, renew your mind and guard your heart against dwelling on wrong things. Also, feed on anointed books.
What then are the Rewards of Purity?
a. It brings you before the Lord
b. It guarantees answers to prayers
c. It brings honour
d. It brings beauty
e. It eliminates fears
f. You are sure of divine guidance.
However, your relationship with God is what informs what you think or say. Until you are born again, your thoughts and words will be manipulated by the devil. So if you are not born again, this is an opportunity to do so. If you are set, please say this prayer: Dear Lord, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Now I know I am born again!
