THE RIVER OF GOD’S HELP

PSALM 46:3-5 (AMPC) Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God will help her right early [at the dawn of the morning].

One major trick of the devil is to scare us and put us in a state of shock so that we will not be conscious of God’s great love and divine help that are always available to us. Our text above shows us that as the waters are roaring on the outside, there is another kind of water that is also working on the inside of us. There is another mighty force of God’s abundant grace and glorious resources that is flowing both in you and in your direction right now. It will make you glad and give you victory over that situation.

God is never late! God’s help is always on time. Our text above says God will help you right early or at the dawn of the morning. Beloved, your day is about to dawn. The darkness of the night cannot stop the dawning of the morning. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning! (Psa.30:5b). God’s help is on your way and you shall experience it.

Remember that God’s help is free of charge because Jesus has paid for it, (Heb.4:16). Because of Jesus you have a right to all of God’s mercy and the grace you need for that particular situation that you are facing. The Bible says God longs to be gracious to you, (Isa.30:18a, NIV). The river of God’s help is flooding your life right now.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank you that the river of your help is flooding my life right now. I receive your great and abundant help!
