MEMORISE: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:12

READ: REVELATION 12:11-12

13. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12.Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

God is the creator of every human being. Not only did He create you, He created for Himself. Yes, we were made by Him and for Him.

Every sin you commit takes you farther away from your creator. The bible says that Jesus is the light of the word, and darkness has no place where light is. This means that every sin that you committed takes you away from the light and closer to darkness. Darkness is a terrible thing; it is the abode of the devil.

Are you living a life that pleases God or one that pleases the devil? A time is coming when Jesus will come back to take those that are His children.

On that day, those who are living to please Him by staying away from sin will go with Him to heaven, while those who commit sin will go to the darkness of hell.

My advice to you is that you do everything to remain holy. The devil will bring temptations on your way, but remember that he did not create and you must live to please the one that created you and will also judge the world on the last day.

ACTION POINT:
Be wise, stay away from sin.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Jeremiah 1-2, 2 Thessalonians 2

Hymn 7.
1. I am Thine 0 Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith
And be closer drawn to Thee.

Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord
To the cross where Thou hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord,
To Thy precious, bleeding side.

2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.

3. Oh, the pure delight of a single hour
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God
I commune as friend with friend!

4. There are depths of love that I cannot know
Till I cross the narrow sea;
There are heights of joy that I may not reach
Till I rest in peace with Thee.
