THE THINGS THAT GOD VALUES

Luke 15:7, John 3:16-17 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.*For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The value that a person places upon something can be seen by how much she is willing to give up for that thing. God showed us how much He values the souls of men by being willing to give up His all for us. God did not just send Jesus, His only begotten Son, to live on this earth and to suffer and die for the salvation of man. The Bible assures us that “God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting men’s sins against them…” (2Cor.5:19). God came Himself, in the form of Christ, to suffer and die for the salvation of man.

When we understand the great value that God places on a single soul of man, we will desire the salvation of the souls of men much more than we do. Do you know that a single soul of man is worth more than all the treasures and wealth in this world? (Matt.16:26). That is why God gave up His all for man. God is not willing that anyone should perish but that ALL should come to repentance (2Pet.3:9).

How much are you willing to give up to see the souls of men come to receive the salvation that God has freely provided for them through Christ? How eager are you to see men free from sin and the devil’s bondage and to rescue men from an eternity of eternal damnation and separation from God? God is counting on you to preach the Gospel of Christ to men.

Prayer:

I am available to you, Dear Lord, please use me to preach the Gospel for the salvation of men. I give my all to you for this purpose.
