The Touch of Jesus
Matthew 8:14-15 (KJV, TPT), Mark 16:17a & 18b
And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. *Then Jesus entered Peter’s home and found Peter’s mother-in-law bedridden, severely ill with a fever. The moment Jesus touched her hand she was healed! Immediately she got up and began to make dinner for them. *And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Sickness and diseases cannot withstand the touch of Jesus- regardless of their nature. The Bible says, “At sunset, the people brought all those who were sick to Jesus to be healed. Jesus laid his hands on them one by one, and he healed them all of different illnesses” (Luke 4:40, TPT). If there is any sickness, disease or aliment in your body, receive the touch of Jesus and be healed right now! By His stripes, Jesus healed you already (1Peter 2:24). In Matthew 8:16-17, the Bible confirms that in line with the scripture that assures us that Jesus took our infirmities and sickness, he healed all that were sick. Jesus had already taken away that infirmity and sickness so receive your healing now. If He took it away, you no longer have it. Declare this to yourself and receive your total healing right now. Start doing what you could not do before.
Not only are you going to experience the healing touch of Jesus in your life, you also are going to serve as a channel for the healing touch of Jesus to flow into the lives of others. When Jesus entered Peter’s house and saw his mother-in-law sick, Jesus touched her and she was healed instantly. Listen, as you move around today, know that it is not you but Jesus moving around and entering those places. It is no longer you that is living but Christ that is living through you (Gal.2:20). As you touch people or declare God’s word to people, know that it is Jesus touching them and speaking God’s word to them. They will receive the touch of Jesus in their lives and they will not remain the same again. Your hands are the hands of Jesus. Your mouth is the mouth of Jesus. You are one with Him. You are His extension on the earth.
Faith Declaration:
By the touch of Jesus, I am healed and free from every infirmity. Today, I am the channel for the touch of Jesus to flow unto others.
