THE UNLIMITED POWER OF CHRIST’S RESURRECTION (1)

Acts 3:22-24 (NIV)
Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, …. This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him

There’s something very amazing that happened to Jesus that will also happen to you because you are in Him (2 Cor.5:17) and you are one with Him (1 Cor.6:17, 1 John 4:17).

Everything that was going on in His life as He suffered and died on the cross, looked like God was punishing Him, (Isa.53:4) and the devil was having the upper hand in His life, through wicked men. But God was aware of it and God was using it to work out His perfect redemption plan. When it looked like it was over for Him, God stepped in and God raised Him from the dead. God freed Him from the agony of death.

Our text above also says something very powerful. Because of the power of God at work in Jesus’ life, it was impossible for death to hold Jesus down. Beloved, that very SAME Spirit and power by which God raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life, (Rom.8:11, Eph.1:19-20). Let this sink into your heart. Just as God freed Jesus from the agony of death by His resurrection power, He will set you free from whatever you are experiencing that is not His will for your life. Just as it was impossible for death to hold Jesus down, it is impossible for that situation to hold you down. Your life cannot be limited anymore because of the resurrection power of Christ at work in your life.

Faith Declaration:
God’s divine plan for me is working. Christ’s resurrection power is at work in my life. No evil can hold me down.
