THE WORD GRANTS PEACE.

“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” Psalm 119:165 (KJV)

Those who love the Lord have peace. Nothing shall offend them! Amid storms and challenges, they rest. When you take delight in the Word of God, nothing will offend you. Whatever is rising against you will fall! It will fall for your sake. Those who see you will know you are called by the name of the Lord and they shall be afraid of you.

In the book of John 14:27, Jesus spoke to his disciples: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (KJV)

Always declare to yourself that you will not be afraid. Jesus has given you peace. He has given you His Shalom. Nothing broken! Nothing missing! He has given you all-round wholeness.

Locate the Word! The Word grants peace. The Word will give you stability and strength. Never doubt God’s Word. God has said that He will never break His covenant. “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” (Psalm 89:34).

God honours His word above His name. “…For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” (Psalm 138:2)

And the book of Isaiah 55:11 affirms the efficacy of the Word of God. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”.

So never doubt what God has said unto you. Believe it and dwell on it. You can never dwell on the Word and be stranded.
