THE WORD IS SPIRIT
“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:29 (KJV)In Matthew chapter 14, Jesus had told His disciples to go before Him unto the other side. As they were going, there was a storm on the way because the waves were contrary. Then suddenly, Jesus was walking upon the storm. When they saw Him, they were afraid, but Jesus said I am the one; the Jesus you know. I can walk upon the water. Technically, they were correct that He is a spirit but then He was trying to teach them how to function. And Peter said if you are the one bid me come and Jesus said come. My word is Spirit and Life. And Peter walked on the water.Beloved, Spirit rules and controls the natural. If God has said a Word to you, take your mind out of the way. Don’t let your mind be an obstacle nor impediment because that is where the devil functions. He bombards your mind and tells you how impossible it is. And as a result, what happens? You will start drawing back and your faith goes down. We don’t function by what we see. We function by what we know. That is why I can tell that it is well with youThe book of 1 Thessalonians 5:23 says: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (KJV). You are a spirit. You have a soul and you live inside a body. Your body is your container and that is why the enemy attacks the container. He attacks by trying to make you say the wrong things. You must not give in to his antics. When the devil attacks you, speak the Spirit. What is the Spirit? The Word of God! If you practice what I am telling you, you will experience amazing results in your life. I declare that whatever the enemy took from you shall be restored seven-fold.Further Reading: Matthew 14:22-36, Mark 4:35-41Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Psalms 129-131; Evening- 1 Corinthians 11:1-16
