THE WORD OF GOD IS INFALLIBLE

“Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalms 119:89 KJV

When you are relating with the Word of God, you must know that you are dealing with the Sovereign and the Supreme God. He is in an exclusive class of His own. He can be trusted. You see, when God gives us His word, He is telling you what He has already concluded.

Do you know that our prayers are limited by our ignorance of how God operates? There are things we are not supposed to be begging God for. When God finished creation, He looked at it and said, “this is good.” Genesis 2 verse 2: “And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He has made” (KJV).

God rested seeing that He had finished His work. So, everything you need for godliness and for your comfort has been completed and you must have that mentality that nothing is remaining. God cannot lie. It’s not that God will not or He may not; God cannot lie. Therein lies the infallibility of God’s word. The book of Titus 1:2 says it: “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began” (KJV). Jesus also made a proclamation in Mark 13 verse 31: “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away” (KJV).

In Psalms 119:98-100, we are introduced to one of the wonders of God’s Word. “Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies… I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts” (KJV).  So you see, it is not all about age. It is not about how long you have been coming to church but how much you are into the Word.  “I understand more than the ancients. When I speak, the ancients rest and listen because it is the wisdom from above.” You cannot choose to function in the infallible Word and not stand out.
