THE WORTH OF A WOMAN (PART 1)

Dear reader,

Welcome to another month! This month, we shall be examining the delineation of a woman.

Women are one of the most beautiful creatures in the world. She was created as a help meet for man, to make up for what is lacking in him. The Word says: And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him (Genesis 2:18). She can withstand many challenges, run her day-to-day tasks and still keep her calm because of the special abilities God has deposited in her (Proverbs.31:14, 17). As a crown over her husband’s head and the carrier of favour, she does her husband good all his life (Proverbs 12:4a, Proverbs 31:12).

To function effectively as a woman, you need an understanding of who you are, your role and your assignment in life. This is because women are keys to sustainable development and the availability of progress in the family and society at large. Multitasking abilities are one of the endowments of a woman. She can function in many ways, either as a wife, mother, leader, manager or administrator, both on the home front and in the nation.

A woman can function by her husband’s side, being a helpmeet, partner, comforter and comrade. She is the favour pipe that her husband needs to connect to the tap of fortunes (Proverbs 18:22; Genesis 24:67). Many sacrifices in the home are on her shoulders. Most times, she sacrifices her pleasure and ambitions to set a standard of morality, relieves stress and strains tension off her husband.

One of the primary contributors to a child’s growth, spirituality, orderliness, honesty, industriousness and habit of self-control is the woman. The family officer that ensures the physical well-being of every member of the family is secured is the woman figure.

Teamwork for women is a natural characteristic because they are sociable and expressive; they like to establish close ties and strengthen the possibility of achieving commitments of the team members, whether family objectives or company projects. She can function as a leader because she is people-oriented.

The woman also carries out administrative duties, and this is to ensure there is no hitch as this gives her satisfaction. Also, she has domestic and godly duties that keep her family united and against attacks from the enemy. She can lead her entire family to the Lord on her knees as she prays in the secret place. Managing the family finances and ensuring that moneys are well spent and accounted for.

Therefore, women deserve to be celebrated all over the world for their exceptional contributions to society, remarkable conquest and unmatched bravery. Despite gender inequalities across all sectors, women continue to thrive and beat the odds.

However, a woman’s relationship with God will impact greatly on her assignment and role in the community at large. To have a quality relationship with God, you must be born again. If you are not born again, please say this prayer of faith: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. From today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I am Born Again.
