THERE IS A REST FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD
“There remaineth therefore a rest for the people of God.” Hebrews 4:9 KJV
You will notice that man started exercising dominion after accepting rest. So, we are expected to function from the atmosphere of rest; no struggle! When God finished, He rested and said: “Man, take over from now and begin to function. I have positioned you in the place of rest.” So, believers are not expected to rebuke the devil and then begin to wonder whether the devil will obey or not because he must obey. When you pray, you don’t have to bother whether it will be answered or not because it will be answered. This is because you have been given the dominion mandate.
Beloved, God wants you to believe so that you can rest. Jesus said: “…blessed are those who have not seen but yet have believed” (John 20:29 KJV). To be ‘blessed’ is to be empowered. Those who are empowered are those who believe and declare it even when they have not seen it because they know that all things are ready. Your own part is to take it. Many people have garaged themselves for several years because they are waiting for some symptoms to stop before they will accept what is ready. It is high time we stopped running from pillar to post and stressing ourselves as if God is a liar.

Why are you worrying when you should leave it in the Master’s hand and go to bed? Jeremiah 17:5 says “…cursed is the man that trusteth in man…” Do not trust in yourself because your effort has limitations. If there is a time the Body of Christ should enter the rest of God, it is now, because there are so many things around the world that are stressing people.
You don’t need any more stress now that you are in Christ. You have entered that rest. You have ceased from your own work as God did from His own and He says let us labour therefore to enter that rest lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
