“My mouth shall speak wisdom; the meditation of my heart shall be understanding.”
Psalm 49:3 KJV
Today we are enjoying the product of, other people’s reasoning. Bill Gates (for instance) brought a revolution to the entire world because of his reasoning. I understand that when he was a young man, he went to the basement to think, and while he was in there his mother was looking for him all over the place, but she eventually located him in the basement. She called his name and said: “What are you doing?” He said to his mother “I am thinking, don’t you think?”
Is it not a shame that the Church has reduced itself to criers? No thinkers! We are doing it the same way and the world is inventing new things and taking our money from us. The Asian market has invaded Nigeria and the rest of Africa. In the same country where we are busy embarking on street demonstrations and incessant strike action, foreigners are going out with ship loads of dollars to their countries. It is so because the Church is sleeping. We use the cliché “Let us breakthrough”. My friend, know that you already have the breakthrough. Let us now think through! God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, far above anything we ask or think. But we are no more thinking. We pray! And there is nothing wrong in praying. Praying is the method by which we speak to God. Meditation is the method through which God now tells you what to do on what you have prayed about.
Beloved, you have prayed! Now, think about the prayer you offered. For if you ask anything according to His will, He hears you. When I have prayed according to His will, I will then begin to ask Him; “How do I go about it? How do I do it, Lord? How am I going to pass this examination? How do I manage my family? How can I be the best in my office?” It is in the place of meditation that you would receive clear-cut instructions on what you should take next. I declare to you that the season of your celebration has come. I bless you.
