Till Your Ground
by Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Hab 1-3

TEXT: “And the LORD GOD took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” Genesis 2 :15.

It is not enough to engage in anything, there is a particular task that God has called you to do. For Adam, God put him in the Garden of Eden to dress and to keep it. What is your Garden of Eden? What is that assignment that God has called you to do? Until you discover it and engage in it diligently, harvest that will put an unending song of praise in your mouth may not come.

Many are busy in the place where God has not called them to be, no wonder they keep complaining rather than finding pleasure in what they do. “What have you called me to do Lord?” is not a question that is out of place of you want to find your purpose and engage in it. In the place of your divine assignment, you are easily open to divine ideals that translate and multiply returns of bountiful harvest to you. There you easily access divine help, your effort are amplified by the Spirit of God to yield greater results beyond your imagination. In that place, you find joy in what you do, not struggling to accomplish your task. It is where no matter the fierceness of the oppositions that come up against you, they end up crumbling while your drive and passion keep increasing in that which He has called you to do.

That is why in that place of purpose, you must operate with sound knowledge and understanding by giving utmost attention to your task by being diligent in it. God requires diligence in what He has called you to do, to bless the work of your hands. Proverbs 28 :19; says, “He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.”

In Proverbs 22 :29; it says, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

I pray for you, you shall fulfill purpose gloriously.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive fresh grace for diligence…
