Memorise: “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.” – 1 Corinthians 6:18
Read: Genesis 39:7-12
7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.
8 But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;
9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.
11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.
12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

MESSAGE:
Nothing kills one’s destiny faster than formication. 2 Timothy 2:29 says:
“Flee also youthful lusts.”
To flee is to fiercely rush away, as when faced with horror. It did not say to walk away or stroll away. It says RUSH AWAY with so much passion in you that the other party will wonder how you can be that fast.
When someone is asking you to get involved in any form of sexual activity, flee! When someone touches your private parts, flee! When someone loks at you seductively, flee! When a pornography material pops up on your phone, close that page quickly, flee! Joseph knew that if he didn’t rush away from Potiphar’s wife like he did, the devil would have used his sluggishness against him and his destiny would have been destroyed. Thank God Joseph was wise and rushed away rather than walked away. You better take after Joseph if you too want to fulfill your destiny.
Prayer Point:
Lord, help me to always flee any appearance of evil in Jesus’ name.
Hymn 2:
1 When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Chorus:
Trust and obey, for theres no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
2 Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
3 Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.
4 But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
5 Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
