“Jesus said unto him If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”. Mark 9:23
The father of the boy who was sick of epilepsy was careful to describe the condition. You know some of us are good at describing what the devil is doing and not what God has done. And yet that is not what God wants us to live in. God wants us to live in what He has already done. That is our abode. That is where we dwell. That is a secret place. Jesus responded: He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, … bring him unto me. What is that situation you are faced with? Bring it unto Jesus! Fear not! When the boy was brought him unto Jesus, the bible says: “immediately the spirit convulsed him”(Mark 9:20 NKJV). That is the devil for you, even with all the promises you have, he will attempt to intimidate you. He will want to blackmail you to submission. He will want to harass you, suppress you and increase the pain after anointed prayer had been said over your life. He will cause you to lose your job so that you will say God has disappointed you. Don’t fall for his wiles! You will celebrate your victory!
Notice the boy’s father was so intimidated that he cried out in desperation: “if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us” (Mark 9:21 NKJV). This is the type of question some of us ask. If you can do anything… Not that I believe, if you can do anything. You are putting it on Him.  In other words, I am not sure you can do anything, but just in case you can do anything, just help me. Then Jesus said: “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23 NKJV).
I am glad that Jesus didn’t put any person’s name there. The statement applies to anybody. Whether you are rich, poor, white black, yellow, educated or illiterate is immaterial. If you can believe, all things are possible. Dare to believe today and experience the God of all possibilities turn things around for your good.
