“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee”. Psalm 91:7 KJV When I hear people talk about the events in our world today, I just simply locate where they are. How do you read the bible?  Do you think that there is anything happening right now that is strange to God? There is absolutely nothing that is happening now that is strange to God. Take a trip down memory lane and think of all the prophecies that looked impossible that have come to pass. Child of God, the same God who did the miracles yesterday, is still God today and will exceed your expectation.
I know that the world is getting darker, but you are not of the world, so your case is different. Don’t join the multitude to be frightened. Don’t be afraid! Your case is different. The covenant shall speak for you. God has you covered. There is nothing happening that He does not know about. Why are you fretting, anxious and worried about what has been pre-determined before the foundation of the world? Why do you include yourself in the negative news as if you are part of the world? How can they know the difference between the believers and those who do not believe if they don’t see you in the midst of the challenge shining as light and coming out with testimonies? The same things that killed others will happen and rather than kill you, it will promote you because your case is different. Beloved, you are not part of the darkness. You are light. And the light shines where there is darkness and the darkness cannot comprehend it. “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. (Isaiah 60:2KJV)
Simultaneously, while the darkness is there in the world, there is light on God’s people. So, don’t include yourself in the darkness. Stand firm in the liberty that God has made available to you and boldly declare that your case is different. Further Reading: Isaiah 60:1-20 Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Gen 27, 28 / Evening- Matt: 9:18-34
