TEXT: “And it came to pass in the process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God because of the bondage. And God hears their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob”. Exodus 2:23-24

The children of Israel had been in bondage for 430 years and would have continued if they had not lifted up their voices and cried unto the Lord to come to their rescue and deliver them. Once deliverance is initiated, restoration follows.

A man in bondage is a limited man, he has no access to divine abundance. When God shows up for you and delivers you, he pays you arrears of all your wasted years. Just lift up your voice and cry for divine intervention and restoration. You are far more than where you are. If you know the packages that God has prepared for you, you will know that you are yet to step into it.

The children of Israel have been laboring for the Egyptians for such a long time without wages. They would never have imagined how God can restore all they had lost in such a length of time. But because God is good and His ways are beyond human reasoning, He suspended the minds of the Egyptians and they willingly gave the Israelites all they demanded of them despite knowing they were agitating to leave the land. The Egyptians cooperated with the Israelites in spoiling them. When divine restoration is at work, anything is possible.

Yours is to cry for divine restoration, how it will happen is not your mission. God in His wisdom has mapped out how to restore His people to show forth His glory. As you cry out for restoration, I see heaven responding speedily.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I arise and cry for divine restoration.
