“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”
Romans 4:20-21 KJV
This natural world is headed for corruption. It is not going to get better. If you remember the image which Nebuchadnezzar saw in the dream he had about the kingdom of gold, of silver, of iron and then of clay, you will discover that the whole thing was depreciating. That is a picture of the world’s system. Until a rock that was not cut with hand hit it. The Rock pictures the Kingdom of God which is the Kingdom we belong to. The unshakable kingdom!
The world’s system is headed for destruction. As we begin to climax the age, the inferiority of the world is going to be exposed more and more. Therefore, your faith must not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. The Bible points out that Abraham received God’s promise. It was not his initiative. It was God’s decision. God decided to call Him out and separated him from his kindred and family. Abraham all I need is for you to cooperate with me and I am going to make a nation out of you. I am going to do something different with you. This was a man who had no child and has passed the time of childbearing. The wife was far gone in menopause.
There was an opportunity to not believe. So what was it that encouraged Abraham? The Word of God. He was fully persuaded that God will perform what He has promised. You will always encounter hopeless situations in this life. You will encounter it in your marital life. You will encounter it in your finance. You will encounter it in your education. You will encounter it in your profession and ministry. There is no area of life that the devil does not attack but you must learn to stand on the secure platform which is the word of God.
