TRUST IN THE LORD FOR HIS DIVINE PRESERVATION
Proverbs 21:31, Psalms 127:1 (CEV), Psalms 121:3-5 (CEV)
The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. *Without the help of the LORD it is useless to build a home or to guard a city. *The LORD is your protector, and he won’t go to sleep or let you stumble. The protector of Israel doesn’t doze or ever get drowsy. The LORD is your protector, there at your right side to shade you from the sun.
Psalms 16:1 says, “Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.” The Bible assures us that whosoever believes in Him shall not be ashamed Rom.10:11). As you trust in God to preserve you and all you desire Him to preserve, you will not be ashamed.
Yes, you will play your part and do what you are supposed to do, but you must continually keep your faith totally on God’s divine and preserving ability. “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.” (Lam.3:22). God wants us to put our hope in His mercy and ability to preserve and sustain us and all that concerns us (Psa. 33:17-19). The Bible says, “He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.” (Psa. 147:10-11).
Apostle Paul said, “The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing.” (2Tim.1:12, TPT). Instead of worrying about the preservation of anything or anyone, commit them into God’s hands.
Action Point:
Thank God for His abundant mercy and divine preservation. Commit into His hands what you want Him to preserve.
