UNDERSTAND WHAT THE BLOOD DID FOR YOU

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the  riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7 KJV

The devil doesn’t mind you coming to church every day as long as you are ignorant of God’s provision for your salvation. You may come to church and get involved in every activity but as long you are ignorant, you cannot have victory over that sickness; you will still be stranded. As long as you don’t know what riches had been made available to you, you can come to church and be religious but you will never be fulfilled; you will never partake of the goodness of God.

You must understand what the blood did for you.  The blood bought you back! The blood cleansed you and removed the records of your past so that it can never be traced again. You are now in Christ and if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature that has never existed before. Thus, you have the same access and standing with God that Jesus has. How does that grab you? That is what makes your salvation mysterious. The devil couldn’t understand it because the church of Jesus Christ is the hidden secret place which God did not unveil until Christ came and died. Even the prophets were asking:  “who are those people that will enjoy this everlasting love? Who are those people whom God will not impute sin on?”

That’s why you don’t write off anyone who is still sitting under the word because God is still working. He does special work in the darkness of our lives. He is doing some work bringing out the beauty which He has already put inside you. We all possess a beauty that the devil cannot understand. For we have this treasure and we are in earthen or weak vessels. Your vessel may be empty, weak and tired and failing, but there is a work going on.  Jesus is working on the inside and it will manifest on the outside. So you just tell your neighbor to keep watching you.
