WEDNESDAY AUGUST 25

UNDERSTAND YOUR COMPLETENESS IN CHRIST.

Colossians 2:9-11(LB), 2 Peter 1:3(AMP)

For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ …. When you came to Christ, he set you free from your evil desires,….. by a spiritual operation, the baptism of your souls. For His Divine power has bestowed upon us all things that (requisite and suited) to life and godliness, through the (full, personal) knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

Child of God, I am delighted to reassure you that in Christ, God has given you all things and done all things for you. Please read that again and think about it for a moment. I did not say that God will give you all things or will do all things for you. All things have already been done for you and you have already received all things!

Your faith and prayers do not move God to action on your behalf. Rather, they allow you to maintain a posture of reception to what God has already achieved for you in Christ.

The Bible says, “As God’s co-workers, we urge you not to receive God’s Grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of Salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of Salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:1-2, NIV.). God has already heard you and has already helped you in that area of your life. Christ has brought you into the dispensation of God’s perpetual favor and salvation. Because you are standing in the grace of God, you can rejoice in the hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:2).

The glory of God is sure in your life and situation. Now, you may say, “but I don’t yet see everything I need” or you may ask, “how can I receive all that God has already given to me and done for me?” The answer is simple: through the knowledge of Christ.

As you increase in the revelation of Christ, you will experience all that God has given you and done for you. ALL the promises of God have already been fulfilled in Christ. They are ALL your reality right now because you are in Christ. God is not going to anoint you. He has anointed you in Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:20-21).

He has anointed you with the same anointing that is on Christ.
The Anointing flows from the head.
The SAME power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you! (Ephesians 1:19-20.) You are anointed!

PRAYER FOCUS

Rejoice that God has done all things for you and given you all things in Christ. Ask God to help you increase in the knowledge of Christ.
