UNIQUELY ENDOWED

13th April 2023

Scripture Reading: ZECHARIAH 4: 1-9

Focus

“And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:” (Zechariah 4: 2)

According to bible history, no one was allowed to create the menorah for use in his own home. People could create a lampstand with eight or nine candlesticks, but none was allowed to create a lampstand with seven candlesticks. The temple was literally given the patent of the menorah. What the temple had was unique to the temple. No one else could copy the menorah. No one else could create a replica of the menorah.

Friend, can I be the first to announce to you that what God has planted in you is unique to you? No one else can be you. No one else can copy the grace of God upon your life. No one else can fit into the roles that God has wired you to fit into. No one else can carry the divine mandate that heaven has bestowed on you. No one else can bear the light that heaven has put in you. No one else can win the battles that heaven wired you to win.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: the grace for distinction is upon you. The grace to remain outstanding is upon you. The grace to remain perpetually relevant by reason of what heaven has put in you, is upon you. The grace to defeat the enemy in his own turf is upon you. The grace to outlive the challenges in your environment is upon you. The grace to bring unique solutions and contributions to the scheme of things, is upon you.

You are that burning and shining light that will shine uniquely irrespective of how many other lights that are shining. You are that burning and shining light that will shine in a way that none other is shining. You are that burning and shining light that is uniquely lit to light up your generation differently. You are that light that does not have a duplicate. You are that light that does not have a replacement. You are that light without rivals.

Live with the confidence of one who carries what cannot be replicated. Live like the unique light that you are.

I am uniquely endowed; no man can take my place, in Jesus’ name!
