VISIONS OF PURPOSE AND MINISTRY

ACTS 16:8-10(GNB), ACTS 26:19(GNB)

So they travelled right on through Mysia and went to Troas. That night Paul had a vision in which he saw a Macedonian standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” As soon as Paul had this vision, we got ready to leave for Macedonia, because we decided that God has called us to preach the Good News to the people there. *”And so, King Agrippa, I did not disobey the vision I had from heaven.”

It is easier to recognize opportunities when you are conscious of them, preparing for them and looking for them. It is also easier for you to sense things when you are more alert and sensitive to those things.

One reason many believers do not recognize or sense the opportunities that God brings their way is because they are not conscious, alert, preparing for or eagerly looking out for them.
This is revealed by the fact that many believers often omit prayers that have to do with the spread of the Gospel . If evangelism is really our supreme task, it must be reflected in our prayers, our spending, in our attitudes and in every area of our lives.

As we do this, we will become more sensitive to divine opportunities and leadings for the preaching of the Gospel. God always wants to fill our hearts with dreams, visions and strategies for preaching the Gospel. He always wants to lead and use us to preach the Gospel and bring about a great harvest into His kingdom. The challenge is that many believers are not conscious, praying and preparing for such opportunities as they should.

As you increase in praying and preparing yourself to do so, God will fill your heart with more visions for doing so and for fulfilling His purpose for your life.

Action Point:
Pray in the Spirit right now. Ask God to fill your heart with visions strategies and leadings for the preaching of the Gospel.
