WE ARE NOTHING WITHOUT HIM
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:16 (KJV)
You don’t know what privilege is this: that out of the billions of people we have in the world today; you are among those that God has counted worthy to worship Him. A songwriter says that “He doesn’t need a man to be the God that He is.” Beloved, whether you worship him or not, He is God. Whether you live right or not He is God. Whether you give to Him or not He is God. He is God all by himself. So, it is a privilege that He will give us access into his presence. It is a rare privilege! He is the originator of the origin. That is the God we serve. I wonder what our lives would have been without Him.
One of the problems of Christianity today is that we have a clientele of believers who no longer think. We have become performers. We have become believers who believe in what they can achieve and in their accomplishment. We have become believers who believe in their expertise and what they can do by their strength. That is the problem with Christianity today around the world. We forget to understand that without Him, we don’t have life.
Another songwriter says, “when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all he has done for me, my very soul will shout hallelujah, praise God for saving me.” When you really think of what Has has done for you, you will have no other choice than to praise Him and you will have no other choice than to live for Him. You don’t need somebody to police you to live for Him because you appreciate and realize the price He paid for you. If you truly appreciate the price He paid for you, then do not settle for anything less than what Grace has provided. Take it by faith and see it manifest. Declare your stand on the Word of God boldly and make the devil mad. I declare to you that you will reign over every situation and circumstance.
