We matter to God

A trifle is something of little value or importance. Sadly, many people feel like they are “trifles.” They believe their lives are insignificant, without any real purpose or value. I once read a little phrase that has stuck in my mind. It said: When a king picks up a trifle; it is no longer a trifle. Did you catch that? You and I have been picked up by a King who has forgiven us, cleaned us up, and brought us back into a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
As we learn to live for God in every moment of every day, we realize our significance, our value, our importance to Him. Because when a king – THE King – picks up a trifle, it is no longer a trifle – it becomes a TREASURE!
