WELCOME TO YOUR YEAR OF EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20 KJV

Happy New Year! Wow! Finally, 2020 has come and gone. Many people have stories to tell about that very eventful year. Some are pleasant stories of God’s faithfulness but for many, they were stories of not too pleasant moments. 2020 will be remembered forever in history as that year that the world totally shut down. Yes, it happened before in the 1800s but 100 years after, the world experienced it again. The truth is that no one was alive then to tell the full story of what occurred. Those who are over 100 years old were too young to understand the impact; everyone was left to their own imagination. It was a year of paradigm shift.

The beautiful thing about God is that He never leaves us without a word. He told us ahead of the year that it was going to be turbulent. Many did not understand it, but He said it. The scripture He gave us validated His word: “But the God of all grace… after ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you” (1 Peter 5:10 KJV). Indeed, the world experienced the suffering but for us, we went through the challenging times with joy because we knew what the end will be. We knew God had promised to perfect, stablish and settle us. We thank God for that year.

This is a new year and we have another word from God that it is our year of “Exceeding Abundantly.” That tells me that God is up to restoration. He will restore all the years the locust, the caterpillar and the palmerworm has destroyed and fill your mouth with testimonies.

Be full of expectations; start now to thank Him. Take out time to worship Him and declare your desires. Believe that it will come to pass because He is set to exceed your expectations. Welcome to the year you have been waiting for!
