WHAT PICTURE ARE YOU PAINTING?
MEMORISE: Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 2 Corinthians 3:2

God is not a loser, and He never leaves anyone at a loss. When God uses a person as a vessel unto honour, there are gains for Him as well as for the person used. If you thereby say you are a vessel used by God and there isn’t a positive change in your life, what picture of God are you painting to others.
The truth is, becoming born again does not automatically make you the best, but now, grace to do things that were erstwhile difficult is available.
If you want to pass your exams, you still have to read, though you now have the Holy Spirit to lead you to concentrate on certain areas and even remind you of things that you may forget in the exam hall.
If you are known as a chorister but because you don’t study, you are the one who cheats during tests and exams, what kind of picture of God are you painting?
Imagine if a president’s child is found cheating, the news that would spread round would be more about the president than the child. What picture of God are you painting?
PRAYER POINT:
Oh God, deliver me from living a life that doesn’t reflect your glory.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Ezekiel 10-12, Hebrews 11:1-9
Hymn 11
1. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus,
Ye soldiers of the Cross!
Lift high His royal banner,
It must not suffer loss.
From victory unto victory
His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished,
And Christ is Lord indeed.
2. Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
The solemn watchword hear;
If while ye sleep he suffers,
Away with shame and fear.
Where’re yeah meet with evil,
Within you or without,
Charge for the God of battles,
And put the foe to rout.
3. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
Stand in His strength alone;
The arm of flesh will fail you,
Ye dare not trust your own.
Put on the gospel armour,
And watching unto prayer;
Where duty calls, or danger,
Be never wanting there.
4. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
The strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle,
The next the victor’s song.
To him that overcometh
A crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory
Shall reign eternally.
