“…How can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.”
Matthew 12:34 NIV.
Child of God, your belief goes hand in hand with what you say. What you say is an overflow of what is in your heart. God didn’t tell you to call darkness, darkness. He told you to call light out of darkness. He told you to call the things that do not exist, as though they existed already (Romans 4:17). He says you can have what you say but you keep saying what you already have. God wants you to talk about His promises. He wants you to speak in line with your expectations and not in line with what you are going through. If your experience is going to be different, then you have to believe who God says you are and then speak words that align with what God has called you. This translation of Proverbs 18:21, aptly describes what I am saying; “Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences”.
Therefore, it is completely in your hands to believe God’s perspective of you and to align your words with His perspective, irrespective of your experience. The life of an overcomer is founded on accepting what God has done for him and what He has called him, even if he doesn’t feel like it. The Word of God supersedes your experiences. Never elevate your experiences above the Word of God. Believe what God has said.
I declare that your experiences will submit to what God has declared concerning you before the foundation of the world. The enemy will not cut short your life. I speak peace to every contrary wind that is blowing in your direction and command every mountain to be leveled before you. The year 2019 will answer to you. You will jump over walls! And you will leap over troops. The commanded blessings will not elude you.
