When the Earth Quakes—Praise!

Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”
Revelation 19:5

Imagine a moment when terrible earthquakes will rattle the planet, causing entire cities to collapse. When evil will reign on earth, and when war will engulf the Middle East. What should we do at a moment like that?

That’s a great time to praise God!

Revelation 17 and 18 describe such a moment, when the empire of the Antichrist will crumble just as he’s on the verge of destroying the nation of Israel. The world will literally be at the point of Armageddon. And at that terrible moment, a loud voice will call from the throne of heaven, saying: “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” The choirs of heaven will burst into loud shouts of “Alleluia!” And Christ will return to resolve all the issues of earth, judge evil, and establish His kingdom.

Praising God brings perspective to our problems. In the middle of whatever earthquake is rocking your life today, praise your God. He’s on His way to help.

When we know that Christ is coming again to this earth, we cannot go on being the same people.
