Rhema for Living 30 April 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
Who said you will not graduate from school? Who said you will not give birth to your own children? Who said you will not amount to anything in life? Who said no one will lift up his head in your father’s house? Child of God, the speaker is very important in any matter. In fact the importance attached to a message or statement is based on the speaker. In other words, who the speaker is determines the attention that is given.
That is why when God highly exalted Jesus, He gave Him a name above every name Phil. 2 :9 – 11.

Our anchor text says, “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?” Meaning, no other person can say or has the ability to say a thing and it comes to pass except God has earlier commanded it. That is, what is said must be in agreement with what God has said.
Only God fulfills words. Scripture says, “For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast” Psalms 33:9. No wonder Balaam could not curse Israel because what he intended to say was contrary to what God has said about them. Hence he declared that God has bless and he cannot reverse it Num.23 :20. How then would a witch say something negative against you and you are panicking?
A lecturer threatened that he would fail you and you lose your peace. The speakers are nobody before the one who is defending you. They are not qualified to determine what becomes of you. And more so, what they said does not agree with what is commanded so it does not hold water. You have the authority to reject them (Isa. 54 :17) and send such statements back to them where they can manifest.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, in my life, only what you commanded will stand.
