WHY JESUS GAVE YOU HIS ALL

Ephesians 1:3b-5 (GNB)

..in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world. Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him. Because of his love God had already decided that through Jesus …he would make us his children—this was his pleasure and purpose.

The reason Jesus gave you His all is because of how much He loves you and how much you mean to Him. You are precious and valuable to Him. He simply chose to love you and give His all for you. You did not have to do anything to deserve His love. Before the foundation of the world, God chose you to be His own.

Jesus gave His all for you to redeem you. He sacrificed His life to save you and to restore you to God’s original intention for your life. By Adam’s sin, we all were lost and doomed to eternal damnation (separation from God). We were without hope and we could not be all that God wanted us to be. But thank God that Jesus came to restore us.

Jesus gave you His all so you will live and walk in His fullness, growing up into Him in all things, (Eph.4:13-15). God wants you to live and function like Christ on this earth. God has a glorious purpose and plan for your life. By what Jesus did, God has recreated you in Him so that you can do the works He planned beforehand for you to do, (Eph.2:10, AMPC). God united us with Christ so that we can continue the work of Christ even after Jesus left the earth. This is why Jesus has sent us into the world just as the Father sent Him, (John 20:21).

Prayer:
I thank you Father for the great love you have for me and for choosing me. Thank you for the great purpose you have for my life.
