“No real harm befalls the godly, but the wicked have their fill of trouble.” – PROVERBS 12:21 NLTWhat’s your worst dread? No fear can match the “real harm” of demonic torment. God promises to spare us that ultimate horror as we walk under His rulership. But the promise has a reverse side. Come out from under God’s covering, and misery displaces peace and joy. Samson was mighty as long as he was obedient to God. But when he rebelled, there was an accelerating descent into trouble: he slipped, he was knocked down and finally knocked out. Walk under Christ’s Lordship and Satan has no authority to harm you.
