YOU ARE A JOINT HEIR WITH CHRIST
Romans 8:16-17 (AMPC), Ephesians 2:6 (TPT) The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!*
It is a very big and wonderful thing to be a child of God and a member of His family (1John 3:1), but you are not just a child of God and a member of His family. God has given you the very same life that is in His Son Jesus and He has given you the same position in His family that Jesus has. Right now, you are a joint heir with Jesus and you have a right to everything Jesus has a right to.
When He was on the earth, Jesus continually wanted His disciples to understand that God had raised them to the same position that He occupied in God’s family. He told them they could ask the Father anything in His name and He will not need to ask for them before the Father will answer them. The reason for this is that the Father loves them the same way the He loves Jesus, (John 16:26-27, 17:23). When Jesus rose from the dead and Mary saw Him by the sepulcher and tried to approach Him, John 20:17 (GNB) says, “Do not hold on to me,” Jesus told her, “because I have not yet gone back up to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them that I am returning to him who is my Father and their Father, my God and their God.”

You can do what Jesus can do. This is why Jesus told Peter to join Him to walk on water (Matt.14:28-29) and He said because we believe in Him, we shall do the works that He did and even greater works, (John 14:12). You deserve and have access to every resource that Jesus deserves and would have access to if He was on the earth right now. You have a right to all the power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessing that Jesus received after He was slain, (Rev.5:12).
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for giving me the same position in your family that Jesus has. Thank you for giving me access to everything that Jesus has access to.
