YOU ARE A WITNESS OF THE RESURRECTED CHRIST

Acts 1:3 (Good News Bible), 1 Corinthians 15:13-14, Acts 4:33

For forty days after his death he appeared to them many times in ways that proved beyond doubt that he was alive. They saw him, and he talked with them about the Kingdom of God. *But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. *And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Believing that Christ was raised from the dead is the beginning of our experience of His resurrection power in our lives. What makes our faith and preaching full of power is that Jesus our Lord and Saviour did not just die for us; He is alive! The grave could not hold Him. He has risen and He has taken back every power and dominion that the devil stole from us. Beloved, you too were raised with Him. As such, His resurrection power is at work in your life and no negative situation can hold you down.

As the early believers began to testify of Christ’s resurrection, they experienced great grace. As a witness of Christ’s resurrection, you too will continually experience great grace in your life. God does exceeding abundantly above what we ask and think according to His power that works inside of us, (Eph. 3:20). Do you know that God’s power is always at work within you and that it is the very same power that raised Christ from the dead (Eph.1:18-20)? This power works according to your faith. To what extent do you believe this resurrection power can manifest and take effect in your life? This power can give life to anything that is experiencing death in and around you.

As witnesses of Christ’s resurrection, God has given us the grace to experience His resurrection power in our lives. This means that through our words and life experiences, men will see and believe that Christ was raised from the dead because His resurrection power will be evident in our lives. You are no longer a slave to sin and so neither sin nor any evil can hold you down. You have the power and grace to dominate them. Choose today to live as someone who has the same resurrection power of Christ operating within you!

Faith Declaration:
I am a witness of the resurrection power of Christ. Through my life, people will believe that Jesus is alive. Great grace fills my life!
