YOU ARE ABOVE ONLY

”And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)We have over time spoken about the power of Christ and of course there is nothing wrong about that. But we also turn around to talk about ourselves from the position of being incapable, weak and limited – that is where the problem is. The greatest problem of the universal church today is not the devil but sheer ignorance. While it is true that we are members of the Body of Christ, we should however go beyond that undisputable fact to truly knowing who we are in Him. All that the Apostle Paul ever tried to teach us in all his letters is to enable us to see how God has elevated us in Christ Jesus and also to walk with that mindset wherever we find ourselves.I come to you today with an assurance from the scripture that by virtue of Christ in you, God has already elevated and seated you in the heavenly places to rule and reign in life. In other words, God has designed and programmed you to be able to confront that situation in your life from a standpoint of strength and not weakness. For too long, many believers have refused to take charge but instead sit back and watch the enemy run riot over their lives. Child of God, from this elevated position, you are to be in charge and in control over satanic forces that want to hinder and garage you. You cannot afford to fold your hands. This is the time for you to show the world what to do. You lead the way for others to follow. In this day and hour, understand that evil will continue to multiply, and you cannot control evil if you remain at the lower level. You need to move to the level where you are higher. Read the account of Jesus and His disciples when a storm broke out unannounced upon them in Mark chapter 4. From that account of scriptures, while the disciples were busy bailing out water from the boat, the Master was fast asleep. Jesus was able to sleep even in the face of a storm because He was not on the same level with the disciples. That is the level of authority that God is calling you up to. A level where the storms of life and challenges would be subject to your command. I challenge you today to come up hither.
