YOU ARE ALREADY BLESSED

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1 : 28 (KJV)

There are certain truths we need to know that will enable us to possess what has already been given to us. One of these truths is the fact that every believer is already blessed. God’s purpose for us was determined right from the book of Genesis. “And God blessed them”. When God opened His mouth; the first declaration He made over the man was that He blessed them. Notice the word “them”. God did not bless “him” as in Adam, but “them’ Adam and Eve, because at this time, Eve was still inside Adam.

What that means is that the blessing is not gender-specific. Whether you are a man or a woman, you are blessed! God has empowered you to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it. And to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. God has already blessed you and given you the dominion mandate.

Whatever we need to live a godly life in Jesus Christ has already been put in place. It is a done deal! Ephesians 1:3 also confirms this truth! “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”

God can bless us because He is a blessed God. He has everything in abundance for everyone that connects with Him. The phrase “who hath blessed us” is also an indication that your blessing is a concluded matter.

You are already blessed! And because you are blessed, you will possess your possession. All things will work in your favour because of the blessing. The blessing is your heritage and everything you need to be blessed has already been put in place by God.
