YOU ARE ALWAYS INVITED

Esther 4:11 (NLT), Hebrews 4:16 (GNB)

“All the king’s officials and … people in the provinces know that anyone who appears before the king in his inner court without being invited is doomed to die unless the king holds out his gold scepter. And the king has not called for me to come to him…”*Let us have confidence, then, and approach God’s throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.

Esther was a queen but she was afraid to approach the king because the king had not invited her. She could not just walk into the king’s inner court whenever she liked. If she entered the inner court and the king did not hold up his golden scepter when she entered, she could be taken and killed.

Dear one, I have good news for you. You don’t need to be afraid to approach the throne room or inner court of the King of kings and Lord of lords. God Himself has given you and open invitation. He wants you to always come boldly to Him because there is always grace – abundance of grace available for us.
When Esther eventually approached the king, he held up his scepter and Esther came to touch it. The king said to her, “…What do you want, Queen Esther? What is your request? I will give it to you, even if it is half the kingdom!” (Esth. 5:3, NLT). You will experience unbelievable favour as you approach God’s throne concerning that desire on your heart. As you approach God’s throne, see God holding up the Cross of Christ to you.

Christ has died for you and He has paid for you to enjoy all of God’s mercies, blessings and favour. The favour of God will also manifest in every area of your life where you desire favour.

Prayer:
I rejoice and I thank you Dear Father, for the abundant access I have to your throne of grace. I receive your abundant favour now.
