YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER
Revelation 12:11 (KJV, GNB), 1John 5:4 (KJV, GNB) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. *They won the victory over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the truth which they proclaimed; and they were willing to give up their lives and die. *For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. *because every child of God is able to defeat the world. And we win the victory over the world by means of our faith.

Challenges are certain in the life of every human being, but as a child of God, something else that is certain for you is that you will always win. Winning is part of your DNA. Overcoming has been wired into your nature. You have the divine ability to face any kind of trial or challenge and come out victorious at the end of the day. I do not know what you will face or come against this year, but I know that you will share your testimony of how you overcame. I want you to start seeing clear pictures of yourself overcoming and testifying.
Do you remember how David overcame Goliath? Or how Daniel entered the lion’s den and came out unhurt? You will overcome and you will come out unhurt from every trying situation. Do you remember how Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were bound and thrown into a fiery furnace, but were not hurt? The same king Nebuchadnezzar that asked them to be bound and thrown into the fire, asked them to come out of the fire and they walked out of the fire towards him, (Dan.3:26). God says when you walk through the water, you will not drown and when you pass through the fire it will not burn you, (Isa.43:2).
This year, do not allow any situation make you faint or lose heart and give up. Be strong and persevere. You will overcome and come out victorious. Jesus said be of good cheer, I have overcome the world, (John 16:33). By the blood and sacrifice of Jesus, you have already overcome. Put your faith in the victory that Christ’s blood has already won for you and keep declaring that you are victorious through Christ. You will be unstoppable. Instead of what you go through to overcome you, it will develop strength in you as you overcome it.
Faith Declaration:
I am an overcomer. No matter what I face this year, I will overcome. My faith is in the victory that Christ’s blood has won for me.
