YOU ARE CREATED TO BE FRUITFUL (1)

Happy New Year! Welcome to your year of more than a conqueror. I want you to know that God has programmed the best things for you and your household. He has designed your marriage for fruitfulness, and it should be natural to man. However, when you are resisted by hell, you need an understanding of God’s provision for your fruitfulness in marriage to combat the enemy. Therefore, I shall be examining ‘Fruitfulness as Part of God’s Plan for Your Marriage’.

With the same breath that God called forth light, and it came to be, He also made man to be fruitful. The Word of God says, And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth (Genesis 1:28). That was not an admonition but a commandment. God did not say, ‘You may be fruitful’; He said, ‘Be fruitful!’ So, never mind whatever contrary report you may be holding in your hands now. Remember, everything God said when He was creating the world came to be. Therefore, it is impossible for what God has said concerning you and your home to fail. The Word of God says, The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations (Psalms 33:11).

So, when He said to you, ‘Be fruitful’, you must be fruitful. This is a commandment from God; it is neither a suggestion nor admonition. He that said, ‘Let there be light’ and it was so, is the same ONE that gave this commandment. In your body, He said, ‘Be fruitful!’  For every male and female creature of God, who has come together in holy wedlock, the injunction of their Creator is to be fruitful. So if there is anything short of this, it is not God. He can never change His Word. The Word of God says, I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him (Ecclesiastes 3:14).

So, blocked fallopian tubes, low sperm count, or any such thing cannot stop that word from coming to pass in your life. Barrenness is not of God and should not be seen as a lesson or punishment from God. God tempts no man with evil. If there is anything like that, it is of the devil. Remember, the devil is the thief who has come to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).

If you are married and reading this article, and you are expecting the fruit of the womb, know that God is much interested in your fruitfulness. For instance, you have been married for a few years now, and you are running out of patience with God, or maybe there are even some mockers around you saying to your hearing that you are papa or mama nobody. Rejoice and be glad because the will of your heavenly Father is that you are fruitful, and the Word of God says, For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).God will not ask you to come back tomorrow for this good thing; He will give it to you right away. It is in His power to give you, and He will surely give it to you NOW. 

Therefore, relax and come to your senses; stop panicking and running helter-skelter. Stop cursing and abusing your mockers. Stop spending your fortune looking for man-made-god-given-children. Stop frustrating your life. Be at peace with yourself and with your God; let His Word come to pass in your life. God’s Word says, Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalms 127:3). As long as you are a child of God, you are entitled to the blessing of children. No matter what the doctors have diagnosed as being responsible, God is greater than man’s report. Below is a testimony of a miracle baby, despite all odds.

I got married in April 1998 and expected to have my baby immediately, but nothing happened. I went to the hospital after I had lost a pregnancy, and the doctor told me I had fibroid. An operation was carried out; thereafter, I was told I would not be able to get pregnant again. I did not believe the doctor’s report; instead, I started praising God and forgot about the report. During the Victory Celebration in 1998, Bishop David Oyedepo declared that we would get pregnant. Meanwhile, my period had always been for 21 days, and it comes with a heavy flow. However, on the first day of the Victory Celebration, my period started, and the flow was reduced and soon became normal. In December, I discovered I was pregnant; thereafter, I delivered my baby. On 17th September 1999, my baby was one month old. To God be all the glory! — Adegbeli F. 

I see God giving you your own testimony! 

However, to enjoy your heritage of fruitfulness, you must be born again. If you are not born again, please say this prayer of faith with me: Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today as a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose on the third day. Forgive me my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank you for saving me. Now, I know I am born again!
