YOU ARE GOD’S WORKMANSHIP
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV, NIV, NLT), John 9:4-5 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. *For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. *…we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. *I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

The first thing that should come to your mind when you hear that you are God’s workmanship is, ‘as a manufacturer, how professional is God?’ Or if God makes a product, how good will it be? I am sure you must have heard of some companies or manufacturers that are so good, that when you hear a product was made by them, you are sure that the product will be an excellent one. When some people go to buy a product, they usually ask for a particular brand because of the kind of confidence they have in the producers of that product.
Now, the Bible says you are God’s masterpiece or God’s best product. That is what the word workmanship means. A masterpiece is the best product of a manufacturer that is either put in a show room or submitted for an award. God has made you so that He can show off with your life. He made you so that because of you, people will praise and glorify Him for how good He is, (Matt.5:16). As God’s handiwork, you are custom made by God Himself so you cannot be a low class product. You have what it takes to be the best in all areas of your life.
Another thing you must know is that as God’s best product, God wants to do good works and achieve great things through your life. You are the one God uses to get things done on the earth. This is the mindset Jesus always had. In Christ, God has already planned and programmed your life so that you will function like Christ and fulfil His purpose. This year, yield yourself to God as His workmanship and allow Him use you to do good works. Know that God is at work in you, making you willing and able to do good works (Phil.2:10).
Faith Declaration:
I am God’s masterpiece. I am God’s best product. God Himself has made and programed me to do good works through me.
