YOU ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS
Romans 8:37 (LB, TPT), 1John 5:4 (NKJV) But despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us. *Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! *For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

As God’s children, the only type of fight we are permitted to fight is the good fight of faith (1Tim.6:12, 2Tim.4:7). It is a good fight, because even before the battle, we have already won. We are not trying to win. Jesus has already won for us and He has given us the victory. This is why we are called more than conquerors. He has handed the trophy over to us. Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world,” (John 16:33). Jesus has already overcome that situation for you.
We do not put on the whole armour of God to fight against the devil. No! We put on the whole armour of God to stand (in the victory of Christ) against the tricks of the devil, (Eph.6:11). Our real battle is to cast down every thought and imagination that wants to exalt itself against the revelation of Christ (2Cor.10:4-5).
By His Cross, Jesus has destroyed the power the devil had over you, (Heb.2:14). Jesus has also stripped, disarmed and triumphed over principalities and powers (Col.2:15). In our texts above, we see that we have overcome already. We already have the victory. Our victory is our faith. When you put your faith in Christ, you were born into a life of perpetual victory. Now, God wants us to live and face our battles in life from this consciousness and standpoint of victory. Continue to lean wholly on Christ, knowing you already have absolute victory over that challenge. Instead of being anxious about the situation, pray about it with thanksgiving, (Phil.4:6). God always causes us to triumph in Christ, (2Cor.2:14). Just like with Joshua (Josh.6:1-5), He will train your hand to war and your fingers to battle, (Psa.144:1). He will lead you to receive your victory.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for making me more than conquerors in Christ. Right now, I receive the victory that Christ has already won for me.
