YOU ARE THE HEALED OF THE LORD

Luke 13:10-13 (GNB), Psalms 107:2, 1Peter 2:24
…Jesus was teaching in a synagogue. A woman there had an evil spirit that had kept her sick for eighteen years;… When Jesus saw her, he called out to her, “Woman, you are free from your sickness!” He placed his hands on her, and at once she straightened herself up and praised God. *Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; *Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

At every given point in time, your real identity is not based on what you may be going through physically, what anybody says about you or what may have happened to you. As a child of God, your real identity is always based on what God has done for you in Christ. Now, a major truth you must also learn to accept is that as much as Jesus took sin away, He also took away sickness. The Bible declares, “When evening came, people brought to Jesus many who had demons in them. Jesus drove out the evil spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. He did this to make come true what the prophet Isaiah had said, “He himself took our sickness and carried away our diseases,” (Matt. 8:16-17, GNB). If Jesus took your sickness and carried away your diseases, then you cannot have them anymore.

Because Jesus took them away, you are free from them. In our first text above, Jesus did not say, “woman, you are going to be free from that sickness.” No. He said, “Woman, you are free.” Right now, Jesus is saying to you, “you are free from every sickness and disease.” Tell yourself the same thing and receive your healing now. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed,” (John 8:36). Let the redeemed of the Lord say so and let the healed of the Lord say so. Beloved, you are the healed of the Lord. No matter the symptoms you are experiencing and no matter the cause of that condition. Jesus says you are free from it and by His word, His power is coming on you right now. No power has a right to inflict any sickness or disease on you anymore, because God has already delivered you from every power of darkness (Col.1:13) and by His death, Jesus has destroyed the power the devil had over you (Heb.2:14).

Faith Declaration:
Jesus has taken every sickness and disease away from me. I am free from every sickness and disease. I am the healed of the Lord!
