YOU ARE WELL ABLE TO CONQUER IT

Numbers 13:30-33 (LB) But Caleb reassured the people as they stood before Moses. “Let us go up at once and possess it,” he said, “for we are well able to conquer it!”“Not against people as strong as they are!” the other spies said. “They would crush us!”So the majority report of the spies was negative: “The land is full of warriors, the people are powerfully built, and we saw some of the Anakim there, descendants of the ancient race of giants. We felt like grasshoppers before them, they were so tall!”

The way you see yourself is important as a child of God. It will affect the way you carry yourself and what you will experience as your reality. Since you have become a child of God, the way you see yourself has got to change. You cannot keep seeing yourself the same way people of the world see themselves or the way they see you. Such a perspective of yourself will limit you. You need to see yourself the same way that God sees you.

The way to know how God sees you is by looking into His Word concerning you. Everything God has said about you in His Word is because of the way that He sees you and He sees you according to who He has made you in Christ. God sees you as a new creature (2Cor.5:16-17), seated in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph.2:6) far above principalities and powers (Eph.1:20-21). He sees you as righteous (2Cor.5:21). He sees you as the head and not the tail (Deut.28:13). He sees you as someone who can do all things through Christ (Phil.4:13). He sees you as blessed and prosperous (Eph.1:3). He sees you as anointed (2Cor.1:21).

Is this how you see yourself? If not, you need to renew your mind today. Without this, the challenges of life are going to intimidate and limit you. When you see yourself the way God sees you, giants will not make you call yourself a grasshopper. Instead you will say like Caleb, “I am well able to conquer it.” Caleb did not say so because there were no giants. He said so because God had said so. Always ensure that the way you see yourself and what you are saying about yourself is similar to how God sees you and what He is saying about you.

Faith Declaration:
I am well able to conquer and overcome. For in Christ, I am a new creature, I am strong, I am righteous I am blessed and I am anointed!
