YOU ARE WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE

“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17 KJVThe devil knows that if God opens his mouth and proclaims a thing, it is as good as done. The devil knows that  if you can hold on to the Word, nothing will be able to stop you.So the question is:  Since  he knew that God has spoken concerning Jesus:  “This  is my beloved Son,  in whom I am well pleased then”   why did he come to Jesus? Why did he say to Jesus:  “………..If thou be the Son of God……..”(Matthew 4:3 KJV) Why did he attempt to cast doubt on what God said? Was it that he was doubting God? No! He wasn’t doubting God. What the devil was trying to say is yes, I know that God said you are my beloved son and I believe it. It is true! But do you know? He was saying to Jesus. I know you are His beloved Son. But before you can actualize it do you know? That is the issue! Because when he finds out that you know, he will leave you alone. When the devil discovers somebody, who knows what his rights and privileges are and is willing to stand on his rights and privileges he leaves the person alone. This is where a lot of believers miss it. They can’t just take the Word at its face value.  Let me announce to you today that God is going to bless and settle you. He shall make the barren to keep house and to be a joyful mother of children. He will lift you up. If He says it, it is settled. The word is settled forever in heaven. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
