MESSAGE:
You are not too young to know that the world is full of wickedness. The devil is out to cut lives short any way he can. But going by our memory verse for today, the good news is that every believer is empowered to live a life of victory.
Despite this, it is still possible to remain under Satan’s manipulations due to lack of knowledge or ones refusal to exercise his/her authority. God created man to dominate. Adam lost this to Satan when he chose to disobey God but through Jesus Christ, we are fully restored to dominate.
Today, God expects you to be a moving symbol of power and authority. Because God resides in you, you are an embodiment of power. God expects you to exercise His power in your life over sin, situations and circumstances.
One way to exercise your dominion is on your knees in prayers. You cannot effect any change if all you do is dash in and out of God’s presence. Spend quality time praying.
Another secret to a life of dominion is purity. Purity is a very powerful weapon. God expects you to live soberly and righteously. Are you ready to dominate?
Key Point:
Exercise the dominion you have in Jesus Christ over all challenging situations in your
life.
Hymn: Stand Up! Stand Up For Jesus
- Stand up, stand up for Jesus!
Ye soldiers of the cross;
Lift high His royal banner,
It must not suffer loss:
From victory unto victory,
His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished,
And Christ is Lord indeed. - Stand up, stand up for Jesus!
The trumpet call obey:
Forth to the mighty conflict,
In this His glorious day;
Ye that are men now serveHim
Against unnumbered foes;
Let courage rise with danger,
And strength to strength oppose. - Stand up, stand up for Jesus!
Stand in His strength alone,
The arm of flesh will fail you,
Ye dare not trust your own;
Put on the gospel armour,
And watching unto prayer,
When duty calls or danger,
Be never wanting there. - Stand up, stand up for Jesus!
The strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle,
The next the victor’s song;
To him that overcometh
A crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory
Shall reign eternally.
